Webb and Zapata County District Attorney Isidro R. Alaniz’s Office released a Press Release related to the arrest of Robert Richard Ramirez, a Laredo Police Detective for an illegal Bail Bond Scheme.
It is believe Mr. Ramirez would coordinate and secure bail bonds by coercing individuals to select a particular Bail Bonds company.
It is also believe individuals would be forced to pay a higher bond or even face Federal charges if the selected company was not used.
