Disturbance Reported at Dilley Ballroom

According to the criminal complaint, the investigation began on the night of Feb. 21, 2026, when officers with the Dilley Police Department were called to the ABA Ballroom at 109 South Commerce Street. Police were dispatched at approximately 11:23 p.m. after receiving reports of a fight inside the venue.

Witnesses described an altercation that took place near the dance floor involving Fonseca and another woman. According to the complaint, investigators determined that the other woman was on the ground during part of the confrontation when she was struck and grabbed. Authorities say the incident was captured on video and corroborated by witness statements collected at the scene.

Victim Reported Injuries

Police reported that the other woman appeared to have suffered injuries following the altercation. Officers documented redness and cuts on her face as well as injuries to her forehead and shoulder area. The victim also told officers she was experiencing pain and discomfort after the incident.

Fonseca was given a $2,500 bond and released. She is presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
