The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant February 25, 2026, in the 700 block of David Curry Drive in connection with an ongoing overdose investigation. Authorities said the case stems from the February 4th death of a 77-year-old woman. The sheriff’s office described the death as an alleged non-fentanyl-related overdose. Investigators stated the warrant was obtained as part of efforts to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives developed information indicating that illegal narcotics were obtained through dark web marketplaces using cryptocurrencies. The agency described the dark web as an encrypted portion of the internet that provides anonymity to users. While it can have legitimate privacy-related uses, officials stated it is frequently exploited by criminal organizations to facilitate the sale of illegal narcotics and other contraband. The news release further noted that cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin are commonly used in such transactions because they allow decentralized peer-to-peer payments without traditional banking oversight.
Items Seized During Search

Authorities reported seizing multiple suspected controlled substances from the residence. The sheriff’s office listed the following alleged quantities: 8.4 grams of liquid LSD, 161 LSD dose units, 26.1 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 5.1 grams of fentanyl, 6.6 grams of testosterone, 0.7 grams of THC wax, and 8.9 grams of Xanax totaling approximately 36.5 pills. Deputies also reported recovering 140.1 grams of methamphetamine, including crystal methamphetamine and approximately 310 methamphetamine pills. In addition, 2.3 grams of marijuana and 1.2 grams of ketamine were listed among the seized items.
Investigators further reported locating a Sig handgun with a magazine and ammunition inside the residence. Digital scales and plastic baggies were also seized. Along with narcotics and drug paraphernalia, deputies recovered more than 20 cell phones. Numerous hard drives, SD cards, thumb drives, laptops, USB drives and other electronics were also collected as evidence.
Arrest and Jail Records

Jeannot Kane Robinson was arrested February 25, 2026, and booked into the Williamson County Jail. Booking information lists his residence as Round Rock and reflects a $100,000 surety felony bond. Jail records show a charge of “MAN DEL CS PG 1 >=4G<200G.” Two additional listed charges — “MAN DEL CS PG 2 OR 2-A >=4G<400G” and “MAN DEL CS PG 1A >=80<4,000AU” — reflect dispositions of “No Action–Undecided Prosecution” and “Dismissed / Declined,” respectively.
The sheriff’s office stated the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released the identity of the overdose victim. All charges are allegations, and Robinson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
